SAGE 50 AND ONLINE SUBMISSIONS ARE CHANGING
As a business, do you run Sage 50 and use the Government Gateway for your online submissions for:
- VAT returns
- EC Sales Lists
- CIS Returns
- CIS subcontractor validations
- RTI Submissions
- IR secure mailbox
If you do, the current system is due to be replaced by a new system developed by the HMRC on the 14th February 2018.
HOW WILL THIS IMPACT YOU?
For users of Sage 50 Accounts
If you currently use Sage 50 Accounts v24, your software is already compliant with the new gateway. You will not be affected by this change.
If you currently use Sage 50 Accounts v23 or below, to continue to make online submissions directly from your software, you will need to upgrade.
If you have a valid Sage Cover Extra support policy or have a subscription to Sage 50 then you can upgrade free of charge by clicking here.
Sage 50 Payroll / Instant Payroll
If you’re using the latest update for the 2017/18 tax year, your software is already compliant. You can continue to make online submissions from your software as normal.
